Ray Wariner serves as the Executive Vice President of Administration and Controller of UTEX Storage Partners and has more than 20 years of real estate, accounting and finance experience. Ray worked with Wasatch Storage partners, applying his finance and accounting expertise to administer proper budgeting, reporting, and treasury functions that arise during and after the development process. Before Wasatch, Ray was a senior financial analyst with American Stores where $1 billion a year was deployed for new stores; he helped develop and roll out a centralized ROI program for the company. He also worked for Extra Space Storage in various capacities in the development department, sourcing more than $30 million in new storage development projects along the west coast. Ray has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance and a Master’s Degree in Accounting — both from Utah State University.
